Questions Couples Often Ask

  • Wedding photography in Hawaii can vary depending on experience, coverage, location, and what is included. My wedding collections begin at $4,200, with most couples choosing coverage based on their timeline, venue, and the kind of experience they want documented.

If you’re still figuring out what you need, I’m happy to help you compare options and choose the amount of coverage that makes the most sense for your day.

  • Most couples book their wedding photographer 9–18 months in advance, especially for popular dates, weekends, and venues like Sunset Ranch, Lanikūhonua, Halekulani, and Ko Olina resorts.

That said, I’m always happy to check availability if your wedding is coming up sooner. Sometimes dates are still open, especially for weekday weddings, elopements, or more intimate celebrations.

  • Most full wedding days need 6–8 hours of coverage. Six hours can work well for simpler timelines, while eight hours gives more breathing room for getting ready, ceremony, portraits, reception details, sunset photos, and key reception moments.

If your day has multiple locations, a larger guest count, or you want more of the full story documented, additional coverage may be the better fit.

  • My style is timeless, warm, and true-to-life, with a mix of real moments, scenic portraits, family connection, and simple direction when needed.

I want your photos to feel beautiful without making your wedding feel like a production. I’ll guide when it helps, step back when the moment is unfolding naturally, and keep the experience relaxed so you can stay present.

  • Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Oʻahu and across the Hawaiian Islands, including Sunset Ranch, Lanikūhonua, Halekulani, Koʻolau Ballrooms, Four Seasons Oʻahu, Hyatt Regency Waikīkī, and private estates.

Every venue has its own light, layout, timing, and best photo locations, so having experience at these spaces helps me guide portraits, family photos, and the overall flow of the day more smoothly.

  • Rain is always a possibility in Hawaii, but it does not have to ruin your photos. Many venues have covered areas, backup ceremony plans, or pockets of light that still photograph beautifully.

I’ll work with your planner, venue, and timeline to make the best use of the weather. Sometimes a little rain even creates softer light, more intimate moments, and some of the most memorable images from the day. I’ve also created from dramatic rain photos. All that to say, with the right photographer you can come away with images you love that you could’ve never planned for.

  • Wedding galleries are typically delivered within 8–10 weeks. Every image is personally edited for color, tone, consistency, and the overall feel of the day.

I also send sneak peeks shortly after the wedding so you have a few favorites to share while the full gallery is being finished.

Real Weddings, Real Moments

Planning a wedding in Hawaii is different. The day moves fast, the light changes constantly, and the best moments usually happen in between everything else.

Take a look at a few moments from real weddings across Oahu and the Hawaiian Islands.

Most of the weddings, elopements, and sessions shown here were photographed across Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island, with a few favorites from destination weddings beyond Hawaii.
