Oahu Engagement Photography

For couples visiting Hawaii, newly engaged, or planning a destination wedding on Oahu.

I’ll help you choose a location that fits the feel you want. Ocean, cliffs, mountains, gardens, sunrise, sunset, quiet, adventurous, or romantic.

The session should feel easy, comfortable, and true to you. No stiff posing. No pressure to act like you know what you’re doing. Just fun, beautiful photos of this exciting season time in lives.

Oahu Engagement Photography FAQ

Where are the best places for engagement photos on Oahu?
Some of my favorite locations include beaches, the south shore coastlines, mountain views, botanical gardens, and places that feel personal to the couple. The best location depends on the light, weather, season, and the kind of feel you want.

What should we wear for engagement photos in Hawaii?
Wear something that feels like you, but photographs well with the location. Soft neutrals, earth tones, flowy pieces, and outfits with movement usually work beautifully with Hawaii’s scenery.

What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
That’s completely normal. Most couples are not used to being photographed. I’ll keep things simple, help you feel comfortable, and give you direction without making it feel stiff. You can read some of my reviews on Google to see exactly how couples who had the same question felt after their session and wedding. I promise to make it fun!

When is the best time for engagement photos?
Sunrise and sunset usually give the best light. Sunset is warm and romantic, while sunrise can be quieter, cooler, and less crowded depending on the location.

Do you photograph proposals or engagement sessions for couples visiting Hawaii?
Yes. I photograph local couples, destination couples, proposals, and engagement sessions across Oahu and the Hawaiian Islands.
